What Shaheen Afridi Said When Asked To Choose Between Babar Azam And Virat Kohli

In a recent video posted on ESPNcricinfo, Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi was asked to choose between two of the world’s best batsmen — Virat Kohli and Babar Azam.

While many would find it difficult to pick one over the other, Afridi gave a diplomatic answer, saying: “I like both”.

“I’ve played with Babar and he’s a special player. I think he has a lot of potential and he can do even better,” Afridi said.

It is interesting to note that while Kohli is considered one of the best batsmen in the world, Afridi has dismissed him four times in international cricket.

On the other hand, Azam has only been dismissed by Afridi once in international cricket.

“I’ve seen Virat from close quarters as well. He’s an amazing batsman,” Afridi added.

The fast bowler also had some words of praise for India’s skipper, saying that Kohli is “very professional”.

“He takes his cricket very seriously. He loves the game and you can see that in his performances on the field,” Afridi said.
